Meet Dr. Bill Griffin: A Scholar with a Supernatural Calling

For over five decades, Dr. Bill has dedicated his life to uncovering the deep mysteries of Scripture, bridging the supernatural and the scholarly to help believers encounter God in His Word. His journey began during the Jesus Movement of the 1970s when he moved from simply knowing about God to experiencing Him personally. At 19, a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit changed everything—words from Jeremiah 1:4-8 seemed to lift off the page and embed themselves in his soul, calling him to a lifelong mission: to help others experience the living presence of God in Scripture. This passion led him to master biblical languages, explore historical and cultural contexts, and challenge the idea that faith and scholarship must be at odds.
With 25 years of pastoral ministry and 18 years as a professor of Bible and Ministry at Simpson University and Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, Dr. Bill has guided thousands in unlocking the depth of Scripture. His unique approach combines rigorous biblical study with spiritual encounter, showing students how to engage the Bible as a supernatural, living text.
